New winners in Courts raffle
Today one person from every district became $2000 richer as consistent Courts shoppers cashed in as part of the company’s 2000 and Win campaign. Isoline Banos may live in Belize City, but she won for San Ignacio. Homer Ivan Tamay is Orange Walk’s winner; Wayne Jones is the lucky man from Belmopan, while Peter Whyte won in Dangriga. Belize City’s poster boy is Roberto Hernandez. If today wasn’t your lucky day, Courts’ promotions executive Anamarie Bennett was on hand to talk about previews of coming attractions.

“We had our second 2000 and win draw, for $10,000 and we’ve decided to do it with a winner being in each branch for all the draws except the one in December ’cause people want to win on their…wherever they shop.”
“We’re celebrating our fifth birthday this year, so for the entire month of July customers can receive several things going along with the theme of our fifth birthday: the first five customers in all of our five different branches receive a free umbrella, we have free t-shirts, birthday cake on Saturdays. The place to be is Courts.”
In October and November Courts shoppers will get another chance to win 2000 dollars and then in December, the big raffle of a house and lot, worth $80,000 will be held. Winning tickets in the $2000 raffles go back into the barrel in time for the next draw. Income tax due on all prizes is also paid by Courts.
