6,000 Tertiary Level Students to Get Data Packages for Distance Learning
As you may know by now, majority of tertiary level institutions began distance learning earlier this month and the remainder are set to do so in the coming weeks. So, to support education at this level, Minister Faber announced that six thousand students will receive data packages to help them access lessons and resources online.

“The government with its partner Digi has arranged for six thousand students to be helped with data. So, they can access this to assist in their online studies. Six thousand students – those six thousand students will receive a data package from B.T.L. that is valued at seventy dollars per package. It is twenty-five gigabytes of data. We have worked it out with our friends at Digi. We have worked it out with our friends at Digi so that it may not be limited for just thirty-day usage. They can stretch it out a little bit longer. They have said for sixty days or maybe even longer.”
