Man in critical after Conch Shell Bay stabbing
An argument late this morning between three young men has left one of them in critical condition in the KHMH. Sources tell News Five that two men, one identified as Nathan McKenzie and the other, only known as “Dye Dye,” went into the Conch Shell Bay Area just after 11:00 this morning and approached twenty year old Jason Orosco. Unconfirmed reports are that McKenzie and “Dye Dye” told Orosco that they would rob everyone in the neighborhood. Orosco responded by saying that would mean trouble. It is then alleged that McKenzie punched Orosco in his face and a relative of Orosco then tried to intervene. Witnesses say it was then that “Dye Dye” pulled out a weapon and stabbed Orosco in his chest. Orosco received two stab wounds: one to his upper chest and another that punctured his lungs. Orosco was rushed to the KHMH where he underwent immediate surgery and is presently in intensive care. The police have detained one person in connection with the stabbing and say more than likely he will be the one charged with the crime.
