PG woman killed in traffic accident
A woman is dead after she was knocked down on the Punta Gorda, San Antonio Road Sunday night. Just after 7:00 last night, 37-year old Michelle Spencer Yates, a resident of Emory Grove, got off a Z-Line bus and attempted to cross the road to go home. However, News Five understands that Spencer Yates was hit head on by a Land Rover traveling in the opposite direction. She died instantly. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 39-year old Wayne Bardalez has been charged with drunk driving, manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct and driving without due care and attention.
