Corozal housewife alleges rape

Corozal police are also investigating an alleged rape that occurred on Tuesday. A 25-year old housewife of Louisville, Corozal, has reported to police that around 4:00 in the afternoon she was waiting for her bus on 7th Avenue when suddenly a white van with tinted windows pulled up. The woman says 2 men came out of the van and threw a white sheet over her. It is alleged the men drove out of town and then they took turns raping her. According to the woman, the men brought her back to Corozal and left her on the street. Police were able to get a brief description of the vehicle and the two men from the woman, but so far no arrests have been made.
