Burrell Boom contractor commits suicide
He was a well-known contractor from Burrell Boom, whose works included the Caye Caulker Airstrip and Belize City sewerage lagoons. Today he is dead. According to reports, the body of 63-year old Rudolph Gillett was found inside his home this morning. He had apparently taken his own life with a single gunshot. Gillett had been ill with respiratory problems prior to his suicide.
