Mexico independence Celebration to go virtual
And get ready to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day. The Embassy of Mexico in Belize today issued a release to say that the celebration is on; but given the current situation relating to the COVID19 pandemic, its two hundred and tenth Anniversary of Independence will be celebrated in a virtual programme. The event starts at five o’clock on September fifteenth, with a short video of the historical personalities who lead the movement for the independence of Mexico. The video will be followed by the famous “Grito” and will end with a concert of traditional music captured in Mexico Immortal by Rosy Arango, the Mariachi Vargas de Tecatitlán and the Orquesta Filarmónica de Acapulco.
