Prime Minister heads to Europe
With the successful visit of Cuba’s foreign minister fresh in his memory, Prime Minister Said Musa hit the road on Saturday for an extended working visit to Europe. Musa’s first stop will be the United Kingdom where, as a guest of the British government, he will call on a number of cabinet ministers as well as parliamentarians, the Lord Mayor of London, Commonwealth secretary general, NGOs and private sector representatives, including officials of the Commonwealth Development Corporation. Following his talks in London the P.M. will visit Madrid and Rome for ministerial level discussions with the governments of Spain and Italy. During his absence of approximately two weeks Musa’s duties will be covered by Deputy Prime Minister Johnny Briceno.
