What Happened to Orlando Velasquez?

Orlando Velasquez

Forty-seven-year-old Orlando Velasquez better known as Easy Bob of Belize City was found dead on Sunday. Velasquez’s body was found floating nude near the House of Culture in Belize City.  Police say no sign of violence was observed on the body, but they did see blood coming out of one of his ears. When we spoke to a family member today they declined to comment on the matter, but indicated that Velasquez was not in the best of health and so they suspect that his death may be related to one of his conditions. They are awaiting his post-mortem results to determine the cause of death. Today, Deputy Head of the National Crimes Investigation Branch shared the details surrounding Velasquez’s death.

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero, Deputy Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch

No signs of violence were observed on the body and a post-mortem examination was scheduled for today to determine the cause of death.”
