No Report of a Teacher & Student Fight in Garden City

News of a fight between a teacher and student in Belmopan went viral on Facebook over the weekend.  Reports say that the two women got into an altercation that led them to seek medical attention at the Western Regional Hospital.  While a police report hasn’t been made, online reports say that the women sustained cut wounds to their hands and abdomen.  Today, the press asked the police about the incident, but they say that no report has been made though police did respond to an incident that involved the son of a teacher.

“We are not aware that a report was made but the police did respond to an incident where it involved a teacher and a student. But those persons were in the process of assisting the teacher’s son who had a misunderstanding with a neighbour but an official report was not made in relation to the incident.”
