Two Charged for Robbery in Carmelita Village
Police have arrested and charged two men in connection with a robbery in Carmelita Village that happened last week Wednesday. The incident occurred around eight-fifteen in the night at the home of Maria Montenegro. Three armed men held her up at her home and demanded money. Montenegro handed over a sum of cash and her cell-phone.

“Police carried out an investigation which resulted in the arrest of two persons; Trey McKenzie who is twenty-two-years-old and a seventeen-year-old minor who have both been arrested and charged for the crime of robbery. Also two firearms were recovered and a red bag containing some monies which we believe were proceeds from the robbery. The investigation is still ongoing and we are seeking one more suspect in relation to this investigation.”
