19-Year-Old Charged for Shooting of Debbie-Dee Clarke

Police say they have arrested and charged a man in connection with the shooting of Debbie-Dee Clarke which happened on the sixth of September. Nineteen-year-old Nathaniel Betancourt of Santa Elena was hit with three charges, including attempted murder.  Clarke was inside her home in Santa Elena when a gunman drove by on a motorcycle and fired several shots. She was hit three times. ACP Joseph Myvett gives us the details.

“Over the weekend, Police arrested and charged one nineteen-year-old Nathaniel Betancourt of Santa Elena in relation to a shooting incident that happened in Santa Elena on the sixth of September where Debbie Dee Clarke was injured at her home on Carillo Puerto Avenue of San Ignacio. Police are seeking one more person in connection with this incident. When the matter was reported two persons rode past on a motorcycle and fired shots towards the home of Ms. Clarke.”
