San Pedro med. school donates to new Bz. City high school
When a couple has a wedding and it’s time to open the gifts a toaster oven is nice…but cash is usually more appreciated. And it’s no different in the world of charity. Today one generous donor just wrote a cheque and the recipient, the soon to be opened St. Michael’s College, is now three thousand dollars better off. The donation, from San Pedro’s St. Matthews University School of Medicine, was presented by the institution’s chief executive, Dr. Jeff Sersland, to Prime Minister Said Musa. St. Michael’s College is the new Belize City high school located at the old youth hostel site on Dolphin Street. It is scheduled to open in time for the new school year. Additional donations should be made through the Ministry of Education.
