Chinese restaurant robbed for 3rd time

Story Picture
Today, the Qiang family of Regent Street is trying to catch their breath after they were held up inside their restaurant on Sunday night. Around 9:00, a group of tourists had just left the Ocean Tea Palace at the corner of Dean and Regent streets, when according to the restaurant’s owner, Zhao Hui Qiang, 2 young dark skinned men entered the building. Qiang says one of the men then walked up to the counter, pulled out a gun and pointed it at his daughter. The young girl, fearing for her life, then handed the robber a $100. The men quickly took the cash and ran away. It is the 3rd time that the Ocean Tea Place has been held up in the last 6 months. Qiang says the robberies have been affecting business, not to mention his peace of mind, and would welcome more police patrols in the area. At the same time, however, Qiang told News Five that he has not even bothered to report the crime to authorities.
