Two seriously injured in W. Hwy accident
Three residents of Hattieville are still receiving care at the KHMH tonight after a traffic accident early this morning on the Western Highway. Police say around 7:30 this morning, Charles Belisle was driving his Ford Ranger from Hattieville to Belize City between miles 9 and 10 when the truck had a blowout and overturned on the right hand side of the road. While Belisle received only minor injuries, 3 of his 6 passengers were not so lucky. Hospital officials told News Five this afternoon that Frank Usher sustained serious head injuries and was still in surgery. Another passenger, Patrick Bruce, was expected to undergo an operation this afternoon for a severely fractured arm. 14-year-old student Sheraine Belisle, received lacerations to her head and body and has been admitted to ward.
