Falling tree crushes Mennonite
Logging is known as one of the most dangerous professions and on Tuesday it claimed a life. According to police reports 24-year old Abraham Neufield, a resident of the Mennonite settlement of Little Belize in the Orange Walk District, was using a chain saw to clear land along with a friend. One of the trees he cut down did not fall in the intended direction, however, and instead crashed down on Neufield. He was crushed to death.
