Van rolls four times, occupants unhurt

This afternoon, two Belize City men were involved in a spectacular traffic accident but somehow managed to walk away uninjured. According the driver, Jaime Castellanos, the van was heading from Belize City towards Belmopan sometime after eleven this morning. When he reached the curve at mile 2, a trailer carrying a load of steel was blocking his side of the road. Castellanos says there was no time to stop so he tried to go around the truck on the left side of the road. But oncoming traffic forced him to suddenly turn off the highway and as a result the van turned over four times before finally landing on its side. When News Five arrived on the scene a few minutes later we found Castellanos and his passenger shaken but physically intact.
