Fire Destroys Home of San Miguel Family
A fire in San Miguel Village in Toledo has left one family homeless. Police say that just before three on Friday afternoon, a fire broke out at Alicia Jucub’s home. She managed to save some items, but the fire wiped out the rest of her belongings, as well as the roof over her head.

“Police were called to San Miguel Village where they spoke with twenty-eight-year-old Alicia Jucub who reported that whilst she was inside her home along with her two children, she saw smoke and later fire coming from one of her bedrooms of her wooden and zinc house. As a result, she managed to save some of her items and during the process the house was completely destroyed by fire, along with some of its contents. At this point in time, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined however the fire department and police are investigating.”
