Shooting victim in critical condition
A Belize City man remains at the KHMH in critical condition tonight after he was shot twice on Thursday night. Police say 18-year-old George Matthews was at Libby’s Restaurant on Gibnut Street around 8 o’clock Thursday night when he got into a fight with another man. It is alleged the man pulled out a gun and shot Matthews in his chest and stomach. Police are still looking for the shooter.
