Ticketing System Now Mandatory from all the Bus Terminals

If you are going to travel on a bus on Monday, you will have to purchase a ticket before you board the bus. The ticketing system is now mandatory from all the bus terminals. The Department of Transport issues a press release today to remind all bus owners and passengers that this new measure is mandated by the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Regulation and Quarantine Regulations.  The release says that bus owners are responsible to sell the tickets. Bus drivers and conductors are to sanitize buses before transporting passengers, as well as to refrain from carrying passenger in excess of the seating capacity.  Commuters are advised to ensure that they purchase their ticket in order to board the bus en route to their desired destination. Additionally, commuters are asked to comply with the protocols of social distancing, use of face mask and proper hand sanitizing. And for those who wish to make complaints about the overcrowding of buses, you are asked to contact the Transport Department.
