He was shot in the back of the head and lived to tell about it. 18-year old Keon Williams told police he was on Fairweather Street Tuesday afternoon when he noticed a man behind him on a bicycle. Williams claims the man pointed a gun at him and fired once. Williams was grazed in the back of his head and rushed to the KHMH but was later released. Today police have charged 20-year old Edward Westby of Faber’s Road in connection with the incident. Westby will answer charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, use of deadly means of harm and wounding in Magistrate’s Court on Thursday morning. According to police, a 9-millimetre Colt pistol, believed to have been used in the incident, was recovered at Westby’s residence. Police say a previous disagreement between the two young men was the motive behind the shooting.
