Suspect arrested in Dangriga robbery
Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery two weeks ago in Dangriga. 24 year old Curtis Zuniga has been charged with robbery, wounding and damage to property in connection with the armed robbery of the Medical Laboratory on April 12th. It may be recalled that the owner Richard Chou and his wife Helen were attacked by three masked men wearing camouflage uniforms. Helen was hit on the head with a gun butt and the men ran off with $500. Zuniga met bail of $2,000 and will reappear in Dangriga Magistrate’s Court on June 24th. Police are still looking for two other suspects.
