Charges Dismissed Against 12 Teachers in Dangriga
Twelve teachers from Sacred Heart Primary School in Dangriga who were charged by police for attending a restricted social event were let off with a warning. The teachers appeared before the Dangriga Magistrate Court where the charges were dismissed, but not before they were given a warning. As we reported earlier this week, the teachers were arrested last Friday when police busted them socializing inside a classroom at the school. The cops reported that the twelve teachers were drinking alcohol and playing a game of cards which is prohibited as per COVID-19 regulations.
