Area Rep. hurt in highway accident
In other news from the North, Orange Walk East Representative, Dave Burgos is recovering today from injuries suffered in a traffic accident on Saturday night. At around 8:15 he was driving south on the Northern Highway between Corozal and Orange Walk when around mile 58 he lost control of his government vehicle. He suffered a broken shoulder and collarbone along with cuts to his forehead. He was treated at KHMH and was due to be released either this afternoon or Tuesday.
