Will A Different Campaign Strategy for the UDP Prove Effective?
The United Democratic Party’s campaign strategy heading into the national vote is focused primarily on providing assistance to voters and their families who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. The U.D.P. has concentrated its campaign funds on providing pantry assistance across the country. The People’s United Party propaganda is more prominent with signs and campaign material on the streets, but does this mean that the approach will prove ineffective? That’s what Party Leader Faber responded to earlier during a late evening interview with the media.
Patrick Faber, Leader, United Democratic Party
“As you know we may not have the opportunity to do the same kind of campaigning that we would normally do. I believe that we could have done a better job had we not have the COVID situation of getting into the homes of our voters for instance. But I think we‘ve done the best job that we can do under the circumstances and the good thing about the handicap that we have is that it‘s the same handicap that all in this race have and so we are confident that we have done enough and we have, of course, rallied our troops and made sure that our voters are awakened and so tomorrow it‘s just to get them to the polls and to get them to the polls safely.”
