Fake Bowen & Bowen cheques circulating

There has been an increasing number of reported cases of forgery in the past few weeks. The latest victim is twenty-eight year old Deepak Advani, the owner of Ayana Super Store on Burns Avenue in San Ignacio. Advani reported to police that at ten a.m. on March fourteenth, two men entered his business and purchased items with cheques from Bowen and Bowen Limited. The cheques which valued five hundred twelve dollars and sixty-seven cents were made out to Kenneth Jones and Reknickle Hemmans. On March twenty third, Advani tried to cash the cheques and that’s when he found out they were not genuine. Last week Bowen and Bowen reported that fake cheques in the company’s name had been circulating.
