Story Picture
His name is Erh-huang Tsai but the new Taiwanese Ambassador to Belize says you can call him Charles. The representative of the nation which gives Belize more financial assistance than any other today presented his credentials to the Governor General in Belmopan and also paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minster. Tsai is the latest in a long line of highly skilled diplomats from the Republic of China on Taiwan. His most recent post was running Taiwan’s office in Edinburgh, Scotland but prior to that he held the ambassadorship to the Caribbean island of St. Kitts for a term of 5 years.
