Sights and Sounds from Garifuna Settlement Day
This year’s Garifuna Settlement Day celebration was a wet one, as it rained incessantly throughout the day. While an official ceremony was held in Dangriga, the Culture Capital, many across the country sought their favorite Garifuna dish and reveled in drumming and Punta music. Minister of State and Dangriga Area Representative Doctor Louis Zabaneh was on hand for the occasion and participated in the festivities which were streamed virtually. We leave you tonight with the sights and sounds of the Nineteenth of November.
