A Brother is Gunned Down Less Than a Day after Burying His Sister

Devin Amoa

Here in Belize City, another family is grieving the loss of one of their own. Around six-thirty on Monday evening, Devin Amoa was murdered in a most vicious way. The twenty-year-old had had dreams of becoming a nurse, but his life was cut short when an unidentified gunman made his way inside his yard and fired multiple shots at him. For the Amoa family, it is a double dose of pain because a few days ago, they laid to rest his sister. Here is News Five’s Isani Cayetano with a report.

The Amoa family is still grieving the death of a daughter whom they laid to rest on Sunday.  Their son, twenty-year-old Devin, has also been taken away from them in a most cruel manner.  On Monday evening, he was at home on Giles Street when death also came knocking.
