Coast Guard Rescues Crooked Tree Villager from Sunken Vessel
Coast Guard conducted a search and rescue operation earlier today in Crooked Tree Village. A report was received of two villagers who were heading to check on their farm in a sixteen-foot canoe with a small engine. The vessel began to take on water and capsized in the area of Spanish Creek. Coast Guard, along with the village chairman and a couple residents, responded and found the men in some bushes. No injuries were reported and the men were returned safely to the village.
