Trumpeter back for second music clinic

The House of Culture is also sponsoring another clinic for musicians this week. Trumpet player and teacher Luciano Rosado is back in Belize to continue the work he started at last year’s session, but he has company and more instruments will be included this time around. News Five spoke with Music Coordinator Jason Guerrero.

“This year we have two clinicians, Luciano Rosado from Illinois and also Frank Rhys, who has had extensive studies at Juliard in New York and he is very familiar with Jazz culture as well. Next year we may even expand to include percussion as well.”

The music clinic runs through the end of the week from 1:00 to 6:00pm daily. For more information, or to sign up call the House of Culture. Rosado, Rhys and several other musicians will have a jazz performance at the House of Culture on Friday night.
