I.D.B. Invest and Atlantic Bank Team Up for Tourism Development

Stakeholders in tourism, particularly the micro, small and medium enterprises that were hit hardest by COVID-19, will now be able to access financing through a twenty million U.S. dollar loan that Atlantic Bank Limited has received from I.D.B. Invest.  It is estimated that M.S.M.E.s generate over seventy percent of private sector employment and income in Belize, despite the challenges being faced.  The objective of the initiative is to contribute to increase access to finance for M.S.M.E.s in Belize by supporting the growth of Atlantic Bank’s M.S.M.E. loan portfolio.
