Belizean drowns in Calderitas
A visit to Chetumal turned tragic over the weekend for one Belize City man. According to police, 42 year old Albert Dougal went to Calderitas and decided to go swimming. Unfortunately, Dougal jumped headfirst into shallow water, apparently misjudging the depth. When he did not appear, bystanders jumped in and pulled him out of the water. They tried to revive him by CPR but it was too late. Dougal’s body is still in Chetumal.
