More Arrests Made for S.O.E. Violations
An additional thirty-one persons were arrested and charged for quarantine regulation offenses. Thirteen persons were charged for failing to wear face masks in public, while six other persons were arrested for being out during curfew hours. Four persons were arrested for failing to practice social distancing and two persons were charged with keeping their businesses open while they were not allowed. Commissioner of Police Chester Williams zeroed in on the six persons who were arrested and charged for attending a restricted social event. He says that people are still hosting illegal gatherings and ask that these incidents be reported via the hotline.

“A total of forty persons were arrested yesterday for varying degree of offences including six persons for attending a restricted events which means that people are still throwing parties and the parry hotline continues to operate and we continue to get information from people via that hotline and the police respond and we are making arrests.”
