Merry Christmas from the Belize Police Department
In keeping with the theme of Christmas messages, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams also shares his well wishes with the nation. The top cop acknowledges the effort of civilians, as well as the business community in making the work of the Belize Police Department less challenging, amid the ravages of COVID-19.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
“Despite the danger to ourselves, our families and our friends, we are out there on a daily basis doing our utmost best and for that I say a special thank you. To the members of the public who continue to work with the police, in every respect I say thank you and you have made our jobs much easier. To those organizations that reached out to us, helping us with P.P.E.s and other resources that we need to do our job, I say thank you as well. We know that the government is strapped for cash and they are not in a position to give us all we want but the government does try and for that I say thank you to the government as well. As we close 2020 and usher in 2021, I look forward to continue working with the men and women of this prestigious organization, the Belize Police Department and the country and community at large. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance, God bless.”
