“On the twenty-fourth of December, police were called to a street in Sarteneja Village where they observed one Braulio Villamil, twenty-five-years-old, Edrell Verde, seventeen-years-old and Odelys Mora, twenty-years-old, all with injuries. They also observed two motorcycles on the street. What the police know so far is that Braulio Villamil was traveling from a south to north direction on the street whilst he was accompanied by Verde, whilst Odelys Mora was traveling in the opposite direction on a separate motorcycle. The investigation has shown so far that Villamil veered from a pond of water that was in the middle of the street into an oncoming rider’s lane which seemingly caused the accident. As a result, they were all transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where Braulio Villamil succumbed to his injuries whilst undergoing treatment, whilst Odelys Mora remains hospitalized in a stable condition at the Northern Regional Hospital.”
