Another Fisherman is Believed to be Lost at Sea

And another fisherman is reportedly missing, presumably out at sea.  Thirty-five-year-old Eric Swan, a resident of Orange Town, was last seen two Fridays ago, on December eighteenth here in Belize City.  His whereabouts since that sighting remain unknown.  On Sunday, an official report was filed with the Belize Police Department to state he is missing.  Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero provides a few details on Swan’s disappearance.

“On Sunday, December 27th, 2020, a missing person’s report was made to the police.  A report was made that Eric Swan, thirty-five-year-old Belizean fisherman of Orange Walk Town has not been seen since the eighteenth of December.  The last information is that he was spotted on that date in Belize City and thereafter he has not been seen since.  Police are now conducting an investigation to determine his whereabouts.”
