American drowns while snorkeling
An American died on Thursday during a snorkeling trip off San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Police say 57 year old James Brown from South Carolina was with a group of nineteen snorkelers around 11:00am at an area known as Coral Garden when he cried out for help. The passengers and the boat captain got him out of the water and took him to the Lion’s Clinic where he later died. A post mortem will be conducted at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City.
