Tractors collide, one driver killed
This weekend two tractors collided, killing one of the drivers. According to the police, thirty-nine-year old Henry Bodden was driving a red Massey Ferguson tractor on his way home Sunday morning. Between miles eighteen and nineteen on the Stann Creek Valley Road, he crashed into a blue Ford Tractor. The tractor was driven by thirty-four-year old Liston Hernandez. Hernandez lost control of his tractor, which ran off the road and turned over, pinning him underneath. Neighbours ran to the scene where they managed to free the trapped driver, however Hernandez died on the way over to the Southern Regional Hospital.
