Killer Stepfather Remains on the Run

Walter Axcel Gonzalez

Police are still looking for Javier Choc. Choc is accused of fatally stabbing his step-son, Walter Axcel Gonzalez.  The incident happened at the family’s residence in San Martin Belmopan on Sunday, January seventeenth. Choc stabbed the teen when he attempted to intervene in an altercation between his mother and Choc. Gonzalez was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital and later to the K.H.M.H., where he died. Since then, Choc has been on the run, eluding police. ACP Joseph Myvett says that investigators do not believe Choc has crossed the border.
