Greg Ch’oc is Appointed the Commissioner of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs.
Gregory Ch’oc is the Commissioner of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs. Today, the Ministry of Human Development, Families, and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs announced Ch’oc’s appointment. A press release from the ministry says that Ch’oc is “well qualified and has over two decades of experience working with indigenous people at the local and international level. His scope of work includes addressing the unique needs of indigenous peoples and leading the implementation of the Caribbean Court of Justice consent order of 2015.” Ch’oc is an attorney-at-law. He is also the former Executive Director of the Ѕаrѕtооn Теmаѕh Іnѕtіtutе for Іndіgеnоuѕ Маnаgеmеnt (ЅАТІІМ).
