Cocaine found in vehicle crossing into Mexico
Three Belizeans and an American have been charged with drug trafficking, after a quantity of cocaine was found in their vehicle while they were attempting to cross the border into Mexico on Tuesday. 37 year old Peter Herrera, 27 year old Sydney Ellis and 25 year old Bernard Talbert, all laborers of #52 St. Thomas. Street, and 21 year old Philip Menzie of Chicago, USA, were in the Ford Explorer when it was intercepted at the Santa Elena Border, around 4:45 that morning. Menzie was driving. Customs officials found five parcels of cocaine weighing a total of 5.2 pounds, hidden in the transmission.
