Escaped prisoners recaptured

Three prisoners who escaped from the Department of Corrections on February 15th have been apprehended. The trio were taken into custody around 8:00 this morning on the Western Highway. Eighteen year old Edwardo Alcoser was serving five years for burglary, thirty-five year old Reuben Galdamez was serving one year for theft and nineteen year old Pedro Gongora was serving eighteen years for burglary. Police say they were hiding out by a culvert in Frank Eddy’s Village and tried to run for it when they saw the search party approaching. They were quickly recaptured and now face the additional charge of escape and have been relieved of all privileges.
