Two Corozaleños Busted with Drugs!
Two Corozaleños were busted with a stash of drugs at a checkpoint on Monday evening. Around five o’clock, cops at the Manatee Lookout stopped a pickup truck with Orange Walk license plate driven by Herman Friesen of Little Belize and passenger Gerardo Lino of Progresso Village. The police officers searched the vehicle and discovered one thousand one hundred and thirty-two grams of weed. The packets were found inside the panel of the passenger doors. Police later searched Friesen’s phone case where they found one point five grams of cocaine. Around one-thirty this morning, police searched Friesen’s house at Camp Twenty-eight in Little Belize and found eight transparent plastic bags with two hundred and twelve grams of weed and a plastic bottle with two packets of one point two grams of cocaine. Both Friesen and Lino were charged with two counts of Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Supply to Another. Friesen was slapped with three additional counts of Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Supply to Another.
