Price of Diesel Increases by 46 cents!
Effective tonight at midnight, the price of diesel at the pumps will increase by forty-six cents. This takes the retail price of the fuel from eight dollars and seventy-four cents to nine dollars and twenty cents. Last week, the cost of regular gas went up by fifty-one cents and is now being sold at nine dollars and seventy-eight cents. The price for premium gas remains unchanged at nine dollars and eighty-nine cents and kerosene at six dollars and forty-six cents. The government says that it will continue to monitor the price changes on the international market and work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers.
