But if you’re a die hard romantic, then Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to show your significant other how much you really care. News Five went in search of the perfect token of affection. While most people will probably buy something tried and true we’ve also got some interesting choices for those of you who are little more daring, if not downright scandalous.

Oh the flowers, the chocolate, the gold chains with the heart shaped pendants…it all comes raining down on Valentine’s day. It’s a big day for just about every relationship and finding that special something may almost seem like mission:impossible. But it’s not hard, if you know where to look. The first stop? Laurine L Chocolates at the Commercial Center. She whips up special flavors ranging from panty ripper truffles to crabboo wine candies and arranges melt in your mouth bouquets for any sweet tooth. But it’s her special molds that people go crazy for.

“Very big attraction. That’s the biggest attraction. All the girls come in looking for it, the guys too. So it’s going pretty good. I’ve sold so many that I ran out of material, ingredients to make any more with.”

“The roses. The red roses, we have red roses and that usually signifies love. But we also have five different color roses like an orange, champagne, a white, peach, pink, dark pink, light pink. Because Valentine’s Day isn’t only for boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives, if you want to send a bouquet for your grandmother, for your mother, for your friend, you don’t have to send red.”
