Taylor and Lyn to give Valentine concert
Its not too early to make your Valentine’s weekend plans and the romance begins this Friday. Singers Keith Lyn and Vic Taylor are teaming up for what promises to be a memorable evening of love songs. News Five was at the airport for the arrival this afternoon.

The last time Vic Taylor and Keith Lyn sang together was twenty years ago right here in Belize. Today the former bandleaders of Byron Lee and the Dragonaires and international love ballad singing sensations are in the country getting ready for the reunion of a lifetime.

“I am looking very much forward to it because when we were singing together in the seventies we were a great team so I am trying to visualize that happening again, twenty years after. So I am just looking forward to it, I am just ready to get on the stage, I don’t know what to say I just can’t wait I just want to sing.”
Keith Lyn
“It’s been a long time and I love coming to Belize first of all I love being in Belize. I’ve always been involved in Miami, L.A there are a lot of Belizeans up there. And when I heard that Vic was also coming here, I got really excited. We speak occasionally but we have not done a show for many years, it should be real exciting.”
The show, which is organized by Love F.M, will not only be a valentine’s event but the station is also celebrating its seventh birthday.

“It is going to be an outdoor event. It is going to be by the pool area of the Princess hotel. There is going to be chairs, some tents, lots to eat, lots to drink as usual. There will be a beautiful stage. It is Love F.M’s seventh anniversary and we are extremely happy that we can celebrate our seventh anniversary this way in bringing to Belize what we have dubbed the greatest show ever.”
Taylor and Lyn will be backed by the Santino’s Messengers. While Taylor has been in the country for the past few days, Lyn arrived this afternoon. Both artists say we should expect only the best.

“Well I am just happy to be back and I look forward to seeing everybody those I know and those I don’t know this Friday night.”
Tickets are available at Love F.M on Freetown Road. Entrance Fee is Thirty dollars per person in advance and thirty five dollars at the door.
