Fire in Big Falls
Just before midnight on Tuesday, there was a fire at a house in Big Falls Village in Toledo District. A wooden structure with thatch roof was completely destroyed by fire. Teacher Ambrrocio Choco told police that he went to his farm, leaving his mother and wife at home, when he received a call that the house was on fire. An investigation has since revealed that Choco’s mother was in the kitchen cooking on an indoor fire hearth when she stepped into the main house and soon returned to find the kitchen on fire. Luckily, no one was injured, but the entire structure was destroyed.
