Elderly man killed in O.W. accident
A sixty-nine year old man from San Roman Village was killed after he was knocked down Friday afternoon in Orange Walk Town. Police say Thomas Villamil was walking on St. Peter’s Street when a vehicle driven by Arturo Escarraga hit the elderly man. Villamil was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Escarraga has been charged with manslaughter by Negligence, causing death by careless conduct and driving without due care and attention.
