Mahogany Chocolate Limited Launches

Tonight we have a story about the sweet success of one of Belize’s chocolatiers.    Mahogany Chocolate Limited is a “bean to bar chocolate” manufacturer which re-launched its packaging today.  This morning they had a re-launch of the brand new packaging, and they also introduced their new product chocol’ha, a ready mix drink.

“One of the first things we did was to decrease the size of our chocolate bar from ninety grams to eighty grams while maintain the dimension of the bar and this translated into thinning the size of the chocolate bar. And then we also looked at the packaging and we improved and enhanced the packaging so that it is more consumer friendly. We know that especially in the dark chocolate range, a lot of our consumers couldn’t necessarily consume the entire chocolate bar and so with the new packaging it give them the opportunity to consume piecemeal and they can also insert back whatever they don’t consume into the wrapper for consumption at a later time. Another thing we did is to color coded the different percentages of our chocolate bars and so now we have five color coded chocolate by percentage under our Belizean brand.”
